hey all. qiaomei here :D Have you all ever wondered why does the kettle whistle when the water boils? Apparently, my friend had and she decided to find out the answer. Here is what she found out, hope this will be useful xD
As the water begins to boil, steams form inside the kettle. As more and more steam is produce, the presuure starts to build. Once the presuure is high enough, the steam escapes through the kettle with sufficient force to blow the whistle and produce the sound.
So, this whistle remind users to 'TURN OFF THE FIRE!' :DD
that's the end of my posting. Hope this will satisfied the curious patienians. Please do tell me if my above explanation is wrong. I'll be glad to find out more :DDD
